Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, energetic and friendly full time Licensed Optician or Certified Optometric Assistant to join our client’s busy optometry clinic in Kamloops.

The ideal candidate will have advanced retail optical experience as an optician or certified optometric assistant. Experience is preferred but we will train the right individual.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Frame and lens selection

• Dispensing/neutralizing orders  

• Delivering legendary customer service along with perfect quality eyewear

• Inventory management

• Statement reconciliations

The Successful Candidate offers:

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities via critical thought and problem solving

Remuneration is negotiable for the right fit candidate depending on experience.
